The countdown has begun for the much-anticipated Entertainment Week Lagos 2023, set to be Nigeria’s largest week-long entertainment gathering.

From December 13th to 20th, the Livespot Entertarium in Lekki will host a gathering of Nigeria’s finest creative and tech minds, enthusiasts, and entertainment stakeholders.

This immersive week features diverse experiences, including masterclasses, workshops, showcases, and exhibitions across multiple platforms like the Deal Room, Film Hub, Live Cafe, The Circle, Club X, and the EWL Pop Up.

EWL 2023’s panel conversations will feature influential figures in Nigeria’s entertainment and creative industries, such as Hannatu Musawa, Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy; Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content & Channels at Multichoice West Africa; Chioma Ude, Founder of the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF); Tolu Ogunlesi, Director at WoweMedia; Peace Hyde, renowned TV Producer and Journalist; Titi Ogufere, CEO of Essential Media Group; ‘Phisha’ Akinlabi Akinbulumo, Artist/Visual Storyteller; Malik Afegbua, CEO of Slickcity Media; and Anthony Azekwoh of AA Studios.

Livespot Foundation’s EWL initiative strategically aims to foster growth and excellence in Nigeria’s dynamic entertainment and creative sectors. Its objectives include nurturing and upskilling talents, building capacity within the entertainment workforce, and advocating for policies that empower the creative sector.

Introduced in 2022, EWL was conceived to equip all stakeholders—current and aspiring—in Nigeria’s creative and entertainment ecosystem with essential skills, knowledge, resources, and practical experiences crucial for thriving within the sector and beyond.

Attendees will have a unique opportunity to glean insights from educators and mentors, as well as have fun during this groundbreaking event. As the countdown begins, anticipation grows for an extraordinary week celebrating and elevating Nigeria’s entertainment industry to new heights.
