With eager anticipation surrounding a week brimming with transformative initiatives and insightful conversations, Entertainment Week Lagos 2023, is set to unfold from December 13th to 20th at the Livespot Entertarium, 4 Oba Elegushi Rd. Ikate, Lekki, and the organizers have disclosed an outstanding lineup of speakers for its inaugural panel session.

Under the theme “Unlocking Nigeria’s Creative Potential,” this compelling panel discussion is an integral part of The Circle, a knowledge exchange community within EWL, encompassing Keynotes, Panel discussions, Masterclasses, Workshops, and Think Tanks. This collaborative effort gathers brilliant minds to shape the future of the entertainment industry.

The distinguished panelists for this enlightening conversation are Hannatu Musawa, the Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy; Chioma Ude, Founder of the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF); Titi Ogufere, CEO of Essential Media Group and Tolu Ogunlesi, Director at WoweMedia.

EWL, an initiative of Livespot Foundation, strategically aims to nurture growth and excellence in Nigeria’s dynamic entertainment and creative sectors. The platform’s objectives include cultivating and upskilling talents, building capacity within the entertainment workforce, and advocating for policies empowering the creative sector.

Debuted in 2022, EWL was conceptualized to equip all stakeholders—current and aspiring—in the Nigerian creative and entertainment ecosystem with essential skills, knowledge, resources, and practical experiences crucial for thriving in the sector. Attendees also have a unique opportunity to glean insights from educators and mentors.

Unfolding through immersive experiences, the week-long gathering comprises a diverse array of masterclasses, workshops, showcases, and exhibitions. From resource exchange in The Deal Room to the Film Hub, Live Cafe, The Circle, Club X, and EWL Pop Up, Entertainment Week Lagos 2023 will also foster talent showcases through EWL Showcase and Exhibitions, providing a platform for tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, creators, fashion designers, and artists to showcase. The week-long event promises not only interactive engagements but also captivating presentations.
