The Story Lab is EWA’s incubator for screenwriting, built to take ideas from concept to completed scripts. Over focused sessions, scriptwriters collaborate to produce television pilots, feature films, or documentary scripts that are ready for production. It’s a hands-on space where creativity meets discipline, and every participant leaves with a tangible body of work designed to travel beyond the lab and into audiences’ hands.
Film Screenings
We provide an opportunity for films who would usually not have access to large cinemas or big audiences. From documentary films to animations and indie films, there’s a place for every great movie/film producer to share their work with an audience.
Film Premiers
EWA is where some of the continent’s most anticipated films make their debut before they hit cinemas, festivals or global on demand platforms. This curated premiere experience celebrates cinematic excellence from across Africa, spotlighting bold storytelling, masterful direction and production value made for the big screen.
