Built as the employment engine of LABSPOT, it bridges upskilling to hiring by linking trained creatives directly with companies, investors and enterprises shaping the future of work.
Deal Room
The EWA Deal Room is a launchpad for founders and entrepreneurs building scalable creative businesses in tech, music, film and fashion. This platform is where creatives refine their business models, strengthen their pitch and access investors and mentors who understand the unique dynamics of Africa’s creative economy. Over the years, the Deal Room has helped over 16 startups become investment ready, raising over $1 million in funding.
Panel Sessions
The Panel sessions organized by Labspot are focused on bring thought leaders, cultural operators and creative entrepreneurs to unpack the issues shaping Africa’s entertainment and creative industries. These sessions go a step further from unpacking the issues to sharing solutions and proposing strategies which end up being implemented by policy makers, investors and creators.
